You have come to the right place if you are suffering from the devastating side effects Depo Provera is invoking in women all across the world.
Beginning your healing journey after Depo Provera can be somewhat ovewhelming in light of the vastness of the effects it has had on our beings in their entirity.( physical, mental, emotional, spiritual)
Take it slow , be patient and loving with yourself, your body , mind and spirit need love and nurturing right now and they need it FROM YOU.
Remeber we didn't get to this point overnight hence wellness will not happen overnight either but rest assured with the proper foundation Wellness is definately something that can last a lifetime.
Below is a small outline to assist in getting you started on your HEALING JOURNEY.

Here's what I suggest at a starting agenda:

1. Take some time and really read through all of the information on the board and let it absorb.

2. [b]Think about what approaches you feel may work for you
(consider your lifestyle, budget, current medical practitioners etc.)

3. Understand immediately THERE IS NO QUICK FIX FOR THIS but the longterm results lead to WHOLE WELLNESS.

(One piece of advice I always give everyone is that we are all unique and
what works for one will not necessarily work for another; As you will note there are various approaches to wellness discussed on this board as I encourage OPEN discussion and sharing ideas. Having said that always keep in mind while there may be similarities in our expereinces EVERY individual has an UNIQUE healing journey, just as we have unique DNA
)

I myself took few supplements for most of my personal journey as I believe NUTRITION is the foundation. ( again, this is what worked for my being, it is possible and in fact quite likely your path may take you to entirely different places)

4. The biggest step is KNOWLEDGE, knowledge of YOUR body, your
nutrition, what areas Depo has or has not effected and where you want to go from there.

5. Whatever approaches you decide will be best for you perform them one item at a time, if you run out and begin using EVERY approach you have read about concurrently there is no way to determine what is working or what isn't, no way to determine what foods, supplements, creams etc are stimulating what causes or effects.
Again this is why I state this takes time, we have to exercise a balanced approach on our healing journey to reap the full benefits of any changes as well as to fully understand their effects. TRUST your body will let you know the effects. In the same way by introducing only one new change at a time the process of elimation becomes much easier to determine

Once you have had the opportunity to do this I will gladly share my healing experiences with you as will other women that frequent this board (what has worked what hasn't)

Also Dr. Mark Rhodes is available on this discussion board to address
questions regarding homrone and hormone balance.
( My sincerest gratitude to Dr. Rhodes for donating his time here)
Let the HEALING begin here, KNOW you are not alone and we are here to
support eachother, I'm confident you will find that in itself is also a good
start.

Hello,
Please bear with me, I am new at this. I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can give me.
I was on Depo off and on for 5 years. I believed the Dr. when I was told it was perfectly safe. I had all the usual symptoms, but I did not make the connection until recently. I feel very stupid about that.
I had my last injection in October2002, due for the next one in January 2003.
I met and married my husband by then, and we decided to have a baby.
I first became pregnant in March, and miscarried 4 weeks later. I then became pregnant again in August. Everything was going fine. We found out at 10 weeks that we were having twins.
I had my last ultrasound at 16 weeks, everything was great. Two healthy heartbeats, two healthy babies.
Shortly after that, we found out that they had both died. No reason, no explanations. We were shocked.
I had a suction D&C 13 weeks ago, and tests were performed. No infections, the tissue samples of the babies are not back yet.
I cannot begin to tell you the pain, and the guilt I feel about this.
I need to know if anyone had anything like this happen to them.
I cannot help but think there is some connection here. I asked my Dr. and she said it could be possible, but we may never know.
Is it possible the Depo could still be in my body 11 months later? If so, is there any way to rid my body of it?
Any help anyone could give me would be so greatly appreciated.
Thank You, Elaine
