When will it stop???

I had 4 shots of depo. My last shot was in January 2005. I did not bleed DURING the time when I was on it, neither did I bleed for 8 months AFTER my last shot. However, about 2 weeks ago I had cramps and spotted for 2 days, then had a regular flow for 1 day, then it stopped.

Now, 1-1/2 weeks later, I am on my period AGAIN. I am scared that I will be bleeding erratically forever. Before the shots, I had a 28 day cycle...now, it's whenever!!!

Does anyone know how long before I get back to my old 28 day cycle??? Or if anyone has a link on people with experiences after depo that is similar to mine. Or am I doomed with this curse???

I think it is a bit different for everyone, I was on it for about 3 years and stopped 1 year ago. I had my first period in may for 1 week, then stopped for a week and had it the next week. That was the last time...now its October and Im still not normal, on top of that incourse has been hurting lately.
